TPA Nationals 10u Elite · Sun 2026-06-21 · two-game bracket, Game 1 priority · 17-game stats · all 12 available
Top Gun bracket: arms reset overnight, so the full staff is fresh today — but both Sunday games share the 6 innings/pitcher/day cap (inning-based). This plan keeps every arm at 2 IP or fewer, so nobody is close to the cap and the whole staff is available across both games. Run rules 12-after-3, 8-after-4; ties in bracket use the International Tie-Breaker (no ties).

ITP draws walks and runs, so first-pitch strikes are the priority; Game 1 leads with the best-result and swing-and-miss arms and holds them in reserve for Game 2.

In-game triggers
Outfield honest-to-deep. ITP has real extra-base power (Lowery, McLamb, Daniels, Beasley) — don't play shallow the way the no-power teams invited.
Control the run game. ~160 team steals — slide step every pitch with runners on, throw down early, pitch out on steal counts. Limiting walks limits their run game.
Don't hook on a single walk. Let the inning's pitcher work the inning; the fix is the next strike, not a change.
Game 1 is the priority. Best arms lead today's first game and stay in reserve for Game 2; no arm exceeds 2 IP, so the staff is available for both under the 6-IP/day cap.
Run-rule / ITB. 12-after-3, 8-after-4 — a blowout can end at 3 innings, so don't burn a third arm in a rout. Bracket ties go to the International Tie-Breaker.
Bench is even at 2–3 sits per player across both games, no back-to-back innings (including the G1→G2 turnover). Pitching innings do not count as bench time.
